The Master of Science in Tourism, Hospitality, and Event Management (MSTHEM) prepares students for careers in the industry and features applied, project-based learning and opportunities for participating in hands-on consulting and research projects in Washington, DC and around the world. MSTHEM is part of the Department of Management, GWSB.
Position Specific Summary
As part of the MSTHEM team the student will manage and design marketing and communication strategies and content for the program and special events. Tasks may include: Planning, creating, managing, and executing marketing plans and campaigns; website resources, digital content and design; and managing social media accounts. While completing work with a high degree of discretion, the student will work within the organization's marketing standards and guidelines. Special projects or other duties may be assigned related to specific team needs.
