Title: Development Internship
Duration: Winter/Spring 2026 (negotiable start- and end-date between January - May 2026)
Start Date: Position available as of January 8, 2026
Work Hours: 10-20+ hours per week (based on candidate availability)
Reports To: Development Team
Responsibilities focused on a combination of the following activities based on candidate experience:
Data & Gift Management
-Data Entry & Management
-General Gift Management, including:
Check Deposit Process Electronic & Online Donation Tracking Organization of Gift Data -General Acknowledgment & Stewardship Process
-Special Event Gift Management & Acknowledgment Coordination, including:
Assistance in our online fundraising platforms, such as Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT and Classy.org Development & Marketing Communications
-Mailings & Appeals
-Donor Event & Meeting Support
-General Development Inbox Management
-Assist with design of marketing materials
Including but not limited to Canva design, creation of flyers, editing graphics, etc. Fundraising Event Support
-As available, assist with cultivation and fundraising events occurring during internship, including general event preparation and coordination, guest tracking, registration, and more
-Other related event duties as assigned, such as organizing & distributing staff and guest attire/swag, assist with packing and loading event supplies, etc.

Individuals, Event Participants, Corporations -Grant Support
Review foundation websites identified as Tenacity funder prospects and confirm current funding focus and submission deadlines Update grant tracking spreadsheets Update foundation portal logins and passwords Craft Word templates for upcoming proposal drafts
