About Our Client
Our client is a family-owned civil and mechanical construction company based in Branchburg, New Jersey, with over 100 years of history and a strong reputation for safety, quality, and productivity. Incorporated in 1966, the company offers a wide range of services including heavy construction, mechanical process piping, plant maintenance, excavation, demolition, and structural steel erection, serving both commercial and residential sectors with a team of over 100 employees and an estimated annual revenue of around $60 million.
Job Description
Project Coordination: Assist the Project Manager in planning, scheduling, and executing construction projects from start to finish. Budget Management: Help track project budgets, monitor costs, and prepare financial reports to ensure projects stay within budget. Subcontractor Oversight: Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and daily reports. Site Visits & Inspections: Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, ensure safety compliance, and address any on-site issues. Client Communication: Support communication with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies to provide updates and resolve concerns. Problem Solving: Assist in identifying and resolving project-related issues to avoid delays and cost overruns. Quality Control: Ensure construction activities meet quality standards and project specifications. A strong understanding of construction processes and project management principles. Proficiency in project management software and tools. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with teams. Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work efficiently.
