opportunity with a national property tax services solutions company.
The
Property Tax Processor
is responsible for the specific duties listed below. Procures tax amount data from taxing agency jurisdictions. Tax amount data procurement method consists of telephone, e-mail, and fax communication to taxing agency jurisdictions Interprets tax amount data and statuses per property taxes received from taxing agency jurisdictions and effectively identifies tax status for payment processing Processes research requests with predetermined processing steps to determine root cause, including research for missing payments, misapplied payments, payments from escrow, overpayments at taxing authorities, verify delinquencies, obtain current tax amounts, and request refunds Follows agency guidelines and special processing instructions Builds Tax Lines as needed, utilizing the TED table Validates lender payees before making disbursements Completes Tax Processing Reports accurately before ELD (excluding Handle Manual if applicable) Completes all required processing on exception reports within SLA Balances all disbursements before end of day and submits all payments back daily
Specific qualifications for the position include :
Minimum of one year as an Outsourcing Task Processor I High School Diploma or equivalent Experience in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word Knowledge of Black Knight (MSP) and/or Fiserv Servicing Systems Pay Rate Range : $18.00 to $19.00 per hour.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Employees have access to healthcare benefits including medical, dental and vision as well as a 401(k) plan.
