Our new
Seeds to Flowers Mentoring Program
pairs girls with caring adult mentors who will walk alongside them as they navigate school, self-discovery, and life transitions. Mentors receive trauma-informed training and ongoing support using the
Trauma-Informed Mentoring Practice Model (TIMP)
to ensure safe, meaningful relationships that promote resilience and growth. What You’ll Do Build a supportive, consistent relationship with a mentee aged 14-17 Engage in monthly check-ins and activities (virtual or in-person) Encourage academic success, self-esteem, and personal goals Participate in mentor trainings and reflection sessions Be part of a community changing lives—one seed at a time Who We’re Looking For Compassionate, dependable adults (21+) passionate about youth empowerment Good listeners who believe in second chances and new beginnings Individuals who can commit 4–6 hours per month for at least 1 year Must have a bachelor's degree or be a successful entrepreneur Graduated from a HBCU is a plus but not required Bilingual is a plus Training & Support Provided: All mentors will receive
