Roles and Responsibilities:

Provide field oversight and support of MEI Project Engineer for ongoing projects related to Process Water (DIW/WW/PCW), Chem/Gas Systems, Process Utilities (CDA, PVAC, PCW, LNG), Process Exhaust (AX, VOCX, GX), Cleanroom, Fire and any other process related systems. Note: this will include support of all MEI related projects.

Provide tool installs/wreck-out/relocation project QA management, and construction QC site supervision services. Such as: Incoming materials inspection, Welder certification, Sample inspection, tool license/certification inspection, Take-off points checking, Construction proposal and JHA checking, Space management, drawing checking, welding/connector control, quality control, 5S, final acceptance, documentation tracking.

Tubing or Pipe testing (P-gas, Special gas and pumping line): Provide quality testing for gas and pumping lines according to TI’s specification. Testing equipment provided by third party. The quantity of test equipment must be adjusted depends on work loading and TI’s requirements.

Comprehend and understand schedules using Gantt charts.

Develop proficiency in using CxAlloy, the TI document repository for QAQC checklist and documentation.

Participate in weekly project meetings and sub-team working meetings as necessary. Plan and conduct QAQC meetings as needed and distribute minutes.

Have a presence on site to perform regular field inspections throughout the tool installation and utility activation process. Persons on site will be knowledgeable of the work under construction during that period of the project.

Witness field tests to be confident that proper procedures were followed and upload testing documentation into CxAlloy.

Coordinate the QAQC work with the MEI team and the MEI Contractor to ensure that activities are being incorporated into the master schedule.

Requirements

· Complete understanding of semiconductor process systems including ultra-high purity and cleaned for oxygen service stainless steel systems, and the ability to competently inspect pipe/tube welds and systems

· Knowledge of systems must include all field and workshop fabrication/construction protocols and means and methods as outlined by industry standard specifications including systems testing and acceptance

· Experience and knowledge of processed piping systems

· Must be able to read P&ID (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams)

· CWI or NDT Level II with minimum of 3 years’ experience

· Familiarity with B31.3 and ASME Section 9

· Computer skills required: MS Office, Bluebeam, PowerPoint, CX Alloy

Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision; Distance vision; Peripheral vision; Depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Must be able to wear personal protective equipment, including protective eye wear, hard hat, lab coat, gloves, steel-toed shoes, and hearing protection.

Must be able to safely access and traverse indoor and outdoor obstacles for site inspections, including climbing ladders, walking on stairs, catwalks, and other types of uneven surfaces where activity inspections are needed.
