Our client, a manufacturing industry leader, is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join their team. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be part of the Office department supporting the finance team. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location:
Altavista, VA
Pay Range: $20.00 an hour
Shift:
8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday
What's the Job?
Open incoming mail and date-stamp all invoices
Match invoices with Purchase Orders and Receiving Reports (3-way match)
Accurately enter invoice data into MAPICS software
Maintain organized filing of invoices and related documentation
Prepare accounts payable checks, bank wires, and ACH payments on a weekly basis; match payments with invoices and mail remits
What's Needed?
Prior experience in Accounts Payable (minimum 1 year)
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Proficiency with integrated ERP systems for Accounts Payable
Familiarity with IBM systems and Infor/MAPICS software, particularly within a manufacturing setting
High School diploma or GED
Ability to pass background check and drug screen
