Join Our Team as a Behavioral Medicine Specialist! We are seeking a dedicated Pediatric Psychologist to provide comprehensive mental health services, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and crisis intervention for children and families experiencing a variety of mental health challenges. This role involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure each member's treatment program is tailored and effective. Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement personalized clinical treatment programs for patients with both acute and chronic mental health conditions. Engage in staff discussions to enhance program development while offering outpatient psychotherapy to individuals, couples, families, and groups. Conduct psychological assessments, administer tests, and prepare detailed case summaries. Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with state regulations and community standards. Work alongside physicians to screen patients for psychotropic medications and utilize community resources for enhanced patient care. Contribute to the development of behavioral medicine and health psychology programs in various settings. Supervise interns and trainees, providing guidance and support as they develop their professional skills. Encourage family involvement by offering educational support, treatment explanations, and promoting adherence to care plans. Participate in program development and evaluation within the department while addressing safety concerns appropriately. Qualifications:

Education: PhD, PsyD, or EdD in Clinical Counseling, Health, or School Psychology from an accredited institution. Licensure: Psychologist License (California) within 6 months of hire and National Provider Identifier required at hire. Experience: Proficiency in DSM-V for diagnosis, with experience in assessing and treating various psychiatric conditions. Skills: Strong commitment to quality service, teamwork, and effective communication. Preferred: Experience in psychological evaluations and crisis intervention. Primary Location: California, Milpitas, 770 Medical Offices. Work Hours: Part-time (1:30 PM - 5:30 PM Mon, Wed, Fri; 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM Tue, Thu).
