What you will do: This Clinical Education Nurse position supports the JHCP Specialty Clinics in the National Capital Region (NCR) and reports to the Assistant Director of Nursing Practice and Clinical Education. This role is responsible for planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating educational programs including quality improvement and safety initiatives as set by the Armstrong Institute for Quality and Patient Safety. Other responsibilities include onboarding clinical staff, continuing education, and developing curricula and skills checklists. Who should apply: A Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited school required. Master's degree in Nursing, Education, or related field is preferred. Requires three years' equivalent full-time clinical experience as clinician. Prefer a minimum of two years related experience in ambulatory care and nursing experience in a specialty. Experience in teaching, training, competency and workflow assessment and analysis is highly preferred.

Active licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Maryland with eligibility to obtain licensure as a Registered Nurse in other states and jurisdictions. AHA BLS for Health Providers Instructor Certification is preferred on hire.

Salary Range: Minimum 46.57/hour - Maximum 72.18/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
