Position Overview: The Billing Analyst plays a key role within the accounting department, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, billing, and financial documentation. This position is responsible for preparing invoices, verifying billing approvals, calculating fees, and maintaining precise financial records in accounting systems. The Billing Analyst also supports financial reporting, income projections, and customer account reconciliations.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare and process invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies. Review and verify billing data, approvals, and supporting documentation. Enter financial information into accounting and record-keeping systems. Perform account audits and resolve billing discrepancies in collaboration with internal teams. Prepare customer statements and communicate account details as needed. Generate reports and income projections for management review. Maintain organized and accurate billing records across multiple client accounts. Collaborate with team members and other departments to support financial operations. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred. 0-4 years of experience in billing, accounting, or financial analysis. Strong understanding of accounting principles and billing processes. Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel (intermediate level). Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy. Strong written and verbal communication skills for interacting with clients and colleagues.
