Sunnyvale, CA (Onsite) 6-Month Contract $70/hour
We're seeking a highly experienced
Program Manager
with expertise in
supply chain management, process improvement, and cross-functional program delivery . This is an onsite contract position based in
Sunnyvale, CA , supporting large-scale business transformation and operational excellence initiatives.
The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker who can bridge business and technical teams, lead global process optimization efforts, and implement governance frameworks that deliver measurable impact.
Position Overview
The
Program Manager, Supply Chain Management
will lead cross-functional initiatives focused on process mapping, efficiency improvement, and operational governance across high-tech manufacturing and supply chain functions. This role requires deep understanding of end-to-end business processes, exceptional project leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple complex programs simultaneously.
You'll collaborate with team leads, engineers, analysts, and executives to translate business requirements into scalable solutions that optimize systems, reduce cost, and enhance performance.
Key Responsibilities Meet with team leads to document current-state processes and propose optimized future-state designs. Identify gaps and prioritize process improvement opportunities based on ROI and strategic value. Build business cases and executive presentations to secure sponsorship and resources. Assess existing tools and systems across functions; recommend consolidation and implement governance standards. Gather and translate business requirements into detailed documentation and user journeys. Support user acceptance testing, documentation, and training. Define success metrics and develop dashboards, KPIs, and scorecards to track performance. Lead multiple complex, cross-functional projects, ensuring delivery excellence. Develop and standardize frameworks, templates, and operating models for BPR teams. Apply effective change management and communication strategies to ensure smooth adoption. Manage portfolio health, monitor risks, and escalate critical issues when necessary. Continuously mature program and portfolio management methodologies and governance practices. Oversee PMO operations, reporting, and process improvement. Requirements Required Qualifications
5+ years
of experience managing complex, cross-functional programs. Bachelor's degree in
Business, Supply Chain, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. Strong understanding of
project, program, and portfolio planning , including governance and reporting. In-depth knowledge of
supply chain and operations processes
in a high-tech or manufacturing environment. Proven ability to lead large-scale initiatives under pressure, ambiguity, and tight timelines. Experience driving strategic change across global teams. Preferred Qualifications PMP (Project Management Professional)
certification. Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)
certification. Knowledge of
Six Sigma / DMAIC
methodologies. Familiarity with
Agile, Kanban, Waterfall, and SDLC
