Regional Business Controller Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Regional Business Controller to oversee financial operations across the East Coast region. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in finance or accounting within private equity-backed organizations, particularly in industries such as Marine, Power Generation, Defense, or Industrial services. This leadership role offers an exciting opportunity to influence strategic decision-making, optimize operational performance, and collaborate closely with executive teams in a fast-growing, post-merger environment.

Regional Business Controller Responsibilities Own the financial oversight of East Coast operations, ensuring accuracy in P&L statements, Balance Sheets, and compliance with corporate and private equity standards. Lead forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis to provide actionable insights into business performance. Partner with regional and corporate leadership to identify financial trends, risks, and opportunities, offering data-driven recommendations to improve margins and operational efficiency. Develop and implement financial strategies that support growth initiatives, cost management, and scalability. Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and other metrics to guide investment decisions, operational improvements, and resource allocation. Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, sales, and finance teams to align financial goals with business objectives. Support the CFO with high-level financial reporting, including preparation for board meetings and investor presentations. Regional Business Controller Position Requirements

A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, with direct responsibility for business controlling or FP&A functions. Proven experience working in private equity-backed companies with a strong track record of investor reporting and compliance. Industry background in Marine, Power Generation, Defense, or Industrial services is required. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business; advanced certifications such as CPA, CFA, or CMA are preferred. Demonstrated success in margin optimization, cost control, and process improvements that positively impact bottom-line results. Strong financial modeling, analysis, and forecasting skills, with the ability to translate complex data into strategic insights. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging at executive and board levels. Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-growth, post-merger environments with a flexible, entrepreneurial mindset. Regional Business Controller Preferred Position Requirements

Experience managing finance across multiple entities and locations. Prior involvement in board reporting and investor relations. Hands-on experience with ERP and BI tools such as Infor, Dynamics, Power BI, or equivalent. #LI-Onsite
