The Inventory Clerk is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, receiving and storing product and materials, performing cycle counts, and assisting with inventory control functions in support of Pacific Choice's manufacturing and packaging operations. This role helps ensure that raw materials, packaging supplies, and finished goods are properly tracked, stored and available when needed, to support efficient production.
Key Responsibilities
Receive incoming shipments of raw materials, packaging supplies, inbound product; inspect for accuracy, damage, and correctness of counts. Unload and process materials, label, and stock them in assigned storage locations. Conduct regular cycle counts / physical inventory counts of material, supplies, packaging and finished goods; reconcile variances and report adjustments. Maintain inventory accuracy in the warehouse/inventory management system: enter receipts, issues, transfers, adjustments, and support data entry tasks. Monitor stock levels, identify low-stock or excess inventory, notify purchasing/procurement or warehouse supervisor of issues. Assist production, packaging and shipping departments in locating inventory, pulling supplies for production runs, and staging finished goods for shipment. Maintain neat, organized and safe storage areas: ensure proper FIFO (first in - first out), lot control, labeling, and clean warehouse/stockroom environment. Assist with outgoing shipments of finished goods: picking, staging, counting, and verifying quantities (as needed). Collaborate with warehouse team, production planners, quality assurance, and procurement to support timely availability of materials and minimize downtime. Follow company safety, quality and regulatory (food manufacturing, packaging) standards, including those required for a contract packaging/food manufacturing facility. Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor.
