Lead and manage the preconstruction process from conceptual budgeting through final estimates Prepare detailed cost estimates, bid packages, and value engineering proposals Collaborate with project teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure accurate scope and pricing Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive estimates Participate in design development meetings and provide cost-related guidance Maintain and update historical cost data and estimating tools Support business development efforts by contributing to proposals and presentations Ensure alignment between preconstruction and project execution teams MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The Successful Applicant
Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field 5-10+ years of experience in preconstruction and/or estimating within a general contracting environment Proven experience with large-scale construction projects ($30M-$200M+), including sectors such as: higher education/K-12, public works, commercial, health care Strong tenure and stability in previous roles Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency with estimating software and tools; experience with Bluebeam preferred Strong analytical skills and attention to detail What's on Offer
