American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with ARRT (R) registry and 1-3 years of IR experience for a day shift role with call requirements. Responsibilities
Work in an interventional radiology unit performing endovascular and IR procedures Typical schedule is 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM Call required 7-8 times per month, including one full weekend call shift per month Weekend call starts Friday at 5:00 PM through Monday at 6:00 AM Weekday call shifts start after regular shift at 5:00 PM until 6:00 AM Holiday coverage required Patient population and procedure types are standard for hospital-based IR Main responsibilities include assisting with interventional and endovascular procedures in a hospital IR setting Training modules totaling 18-24 hours to be completed during orientation and up to 8 hours annually RTO requests must be submitted up-front and cannot exceed 14 days References are not required for consideration Dress code and scrub color details provided upon assignment Requirements
Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or Allied Health required ARRT RT (R) registry required ODH licensure required prior to start or must be obtained during compliance CPR certification required; ACLS preferred Vascular-Interventional Radiography (VI) registry preferred 1-3 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist, with progressive IR experience preferred No prior license action accepted Local candidates accepted within a 30-mile radius at the same rate License required if applicable Benefits
