Job Description

The Real Estate Legal Assistant will provide comprehensive administrative and client service support to attorneys in the Real Estate Practice Group, ensuring efficient communication, document management, and workflow. The role involves preparing, formatting, and reviewing complex commercial real estate finance documents such as loan agreements, deeds of trust, and purchase and sale agreements. Responsibilities include managing signature packages and closings, maintaining client files, proofreading legal documents, and coordinating post-closing tasks. The assistant will also manage attorney calendars, schedule meetings, prepare expense reports, and support marketing and travel arrangements.

Candidates should have a minimum of four years of legal or executive administrative experience, preferably in real estate, and demonstrate strong organizational, technical, and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe, AIR, CAR forms, and legal technology platforms is required. The role demands accuracy, initiative, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining flexibility and a collaborative spirit.

This hybrid position requires occasional in-person work at the Los Angeles office. The anticipated salary range for this California-based position is $80,000-$95,000 annually, depending on experience, qualifications, and skills.
