Position Overview
Adams & Martin Group has partnered with a prestigious West Los Angeles law firm that is seeking a
Real Estate Legal Assistant
to support attorneys and paralegals within its busy
Real Estate and Corporate Practice Groups . This role is ideal for a detail-oriented legal professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys handling all aspects of transactional support. Responsibilities
Prepare and format legal documents and correspondence related to commercial real estate transactions. Create and maintain
critical date checklists
for purchase, sale, and loan agreements. Assist in preparation of
closing binders
and organize transaction files. Calendar key dates
and deadlines for real estate matters using Outlook. Manage and compile
signature pages
for clients, title companies, and third parties. Coordinate document deliveries via
messenger, courier, and overnight services
(FedEx, GLS, etc.). Redline and proofread
transactional documents, correspondence, and agreements. Prepare
expense reimbursements and check requests
for attorneys. Format large legal documents using firm templates and macros. Upload and maintain electronic and hard copy files in the
document management system (NetDocs) . Track outstanding items and assist in deal management from inception to closing. Provide
backup support
to the Corporate team, including entity formation, foreign qualifications, and filing evidence. Order
Good Standing Certificates
and corporate/LLC documentation. Set up documents for client execution through
DocuSign . Schedule, coordinate, and confirm
meetings, calls, and closings . Provide limited
executive assistant support
to attorneys, as needed. Qualifications Minimum
5 years of legal administrative experience , preferably in
real estate or corporate transactional law . Fundamental knowledge of
acquisition, sale, and loan documents . Exceptional organizational skills and ability to handle multiple priorities under tight deadlines. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Advanced proficiency in
Microsoft Word
(styles, redlines, formatting, TOC/TOA),
Outlook ,
PowerPoint , and
Adobe Acrobat ; basic
Excel
a plus. Experience with
NetDocs
or similar document management systems preferred. Notary Public
certification or willingness to obtain one preferred. Professional, team-oriented attitude and a high level of attention to detail. Required Work Hours
Monday - Friday, first shift.
