Job Description: We are seeking a

strategic and technically adept Senior Business Analyst

to join our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Transformation initiative. This high-impact role focuses on reimagining how actuarial, investment, and performance data drive decision-making across our Life and Annuity business lines. The ideal candidate will combine deep domain knowledge with exceptional analytical and technical skills to bridge business needs and data-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities Partner with business leaders and technology teams to design and deliver complex transformation initiatives within the FP&A domain. Translate strategic objectives into detailed business and technical requirements. Analyze large-scale actuarial and investment portfolio datasets to identify insights and improve financial forecasting accuracy. Develop and validate advanced data models and analytical frameworks that enhance financial performance reporting. Collaborate with data engineering and IT teams to ensure effective data warehouse structures and integration. Present findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders through clear and data-driven narratives. Continuously identify opportunities to streamline business processes and optimize analytical tools and data structures. Required Qualifications

Proven experience

delivering complex business or data transformation projects. Strong expertise

in either: Life and Annuity Insurance , or Investment Analytics / Portfolio Performance

Advanced data analysis and modeling skills , with the ability to work confidently across millions of data records. Demonstrated ability to translate

business requirements into technical solutions . Exceptional communication and presentation abilities, with comfort engaging at executive levels. Minimum 4 days per week in-office

(New York, Boston, or Des Moines). Technical Skills

Advanced Excel

(complex modeling, VBA/macros preferred) SQL

(query optimization, joins, large dataset handling) Data Warehouse experience

(design, ETL, or BI integration) Power BI

(data visualization, DAX modeling) Python

exposure preferred (for model development and automation) Preferred Experience

7+ years of experience in business analysis, financial transformation, or investment analytics. Familiarity with actuarial concepts and insurance product performance metrics. Prior involvement in FP&A modernization or data strategy programs. Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including finance, actuarial, and IT. Ideal Candidate Attributes
