Job Description

This position responsible for providing technical support, coordination, design, acquiring and installation support for projects in all Freezer and Logistics locations. Utilizes knowledge in Project Management, Logistical Projects, Robotics and automation, and instrumentation in support of operations. Able to work effectively across all functions of the organization. Team Member on capital and expense projects and serve as project manager on smaller projects. Team Duties will include leading project installations and start- ups, with construction management, completing all associated documentation on-time and in a detailed and professional manner. Will coordinate with multiple functional groups and contractors for projects. Manage freezer, warehouse and logistics focused projects in the Freezer, Warehouse and Logistics point of contact for all related projects. Standards and Specifications - Consistently uses company engineering standards and specifications. Works to develop new standards where needed and keeps existing standards accurate and up to date. For project specific work, develops detailed and accurate engineering documentation including statements-of-work for competitive bidding, bid tabs and how the process will work. Reliability - Technical resource for the maintenance and reliability groups in logistics. Proactively engages with customer groups to help identify reliability issues and to facilitate improvements. Participates in RCA's and FMEA's as requested. Improvement - Collaborates with area leadership to identify, prioritize, develop, and drive improvement opportunities for the logistics area. This will include both capital and R&M planning. Troubleshoots and provides solutions on project and system performance issues. Directly repairs or coordinates the repair of system issues. Collaborates with other areas of the company and/or equipment vendors, sub-contractors, or consultants to solve complex performance issues. Facility Maintenance - Manages smaller scale facility maintenance improvements and emergent repairs. Examples include racking, concrete, roof, dock door, and wall replacements and repairs. These include all freezer and warehouse locations supporting all of the plant locations. Problem Solving - Uses disciplined problem-solving techniques to address internal issues. Troubleshoots & provides solutions on technical/performance issues. Provides technical expertise and support for Engineering functions on pre-(PIF) projects. Provides/Reviews plant(s) infrastructure needs make recommendations. Qualifications

In addition to the responsibilities listed above, other duties may be assigned by your supervisor, as dictated by business necessity.

High School Diploma required, and a Bachelors' Degree in Engineering preferred. Advanced training in industrial maintenance also preferred. 5+ years of experience in maintenance and/or freezer and warehouse environment. At least two additional years of project management or supervision experience in a maintenance and/or manufacturing environment. Knowledge of Continuous improvement methodologies and Reliability methodologies. Process improvement capabilities. Knowledge of freezer, warehouse and logistics equipment and processes. Knowledgeable in Oracle EAM and in MS Office applications. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Project and time management skills. Technical/Mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Must be able to work in both individual and team settings as well as know how to multi-task and prioritize. Must have attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to put together project estimates. Able to assist/oversee several multifunctional groups. Travel as required to support Logistics and freezer needs in all locations. Reports to - MGR Process Engineering w/a dotted line to Dir of Distribution Logistics, Freezer Administration Direct Reports - N/A Indirect Reports - N/A
