About This Role:
We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual with exceptional verbal and written communication skills for a Probation/Pretrial Officer position. This role will serve as a Court Liaison for General District Court and Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court in Prince William County. PWC Criminal Justice Services is an Evidence Based Practices Agency. It is a fast-paced, growing, family style organization that promotes public safety. We strive to reduce victimization, break the cycle of crime, and contribute to community restoration by incorporating the use of Evidence Based Practices to assist those under our supervision make positive changes in their lives. Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma or G.E.D. and a minimum of five (5) years of experience in a related field such as criminology, psychology, social services, counseling, or work involving court proceedings, case supervision, or related judicial processes. Preferences:
A bachelor's degree in criminology, Psychology, Social Services, Counseling or a related field. Special Requirements:
Some overnight travel. Please note, this position is on our Investigations Team and collaborates with the Intensive Community Supervision Program (ICS) daily, requires work beyond normal business hours to include evenings, nights, weekends and holidays. Please note that this is not an eligible teleworking position. Work Schedule:
