has partnered with a leading provider of fire alarm system installations, programming, and service solutions. They're growing - and we're seeking a seasoned technician who excels in complex programming, system commissioning, and new installations.
Responsibilities Install and commission fire alarm systems, ensuring full functionality and compliance Program and troubleshoot non-proprietary systems Program and configure cellular communicators Coordinate with vendors and subcontracted ESD programmers for proprietary systems Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with NFPA codes and local standards Collaborate with project managers to deliver efficient and timely system installations Qualifications
NICET Level II or higher in Fire Alarm Systems ( Not Required ) but candidate expected to sit and pass ( company will pay for classes and test ) 5+ years of hands-on experience in fire alarm installation and programming Strong understanding of fire codes and system commissioning procedures Comfortable working with external vendors on proprietary system configurations Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills Preferred Experience
Previous ESD programming coordination Familiarity with construction site safety practices and installation workflows Experience with commercial and industrial fire protection projects Benefits
