Senior Manager - Corporate Accounting & Technical Reporting

We're partnering with a global manufacturing leader on a confidential search for a
Senior Manager
to join their corporate accounting team. This influential role will drive technical accounting initiatives, support external financial reporting, and act as a strategic advisor across the organization. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting, and corporate close processes, along with strong leadership and communication abilities. Key Responsibilities:
Ensure accurate accounting for complex transactions under U.S. GAAP, including derivatives, pensions, stock compensation, goodwill, debt/equity, and business combinations. Perform technical accounting research and collaborate with global teams to resolve issues. Stay current on evolving accounting standards and lead implementation efforts. Strengthen internal controls related to accounting policies and new guidance. Manage monthly and quarterly close processes for corporate entities and global consolidation. Maintain compliance with SOX and internal control frameworks. Contribute to the preparation and review of external financial disclosures, including earnings releases, 10-Qs, 10-Ks, and other SEC filings. Enhance reporting processes and controls to improve efficiency and accuracy. Provide accounting insights to business units and senior leadership on strategic initiatives. Serve as a primary liaison for internal and external auditors during reviews and audits. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting (required); CPA strongly preferred. 7+ years of experience, including public accounting (Big 4 experience highly regarded). Robust technical accounting knowledge and familiarity with SEC reporting. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and lead cross-functional initiatives. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and project management skills. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Minimal travel required. What Makes This Role Stand Out:
