$45,000 annually Schedule:
Monday-Friday 9AM-5PM
Job Summary
Conduct face-to-face street outreach in locations where youth congregate (e.g., parks, transit centers, drop-in centers, schools, etc.) Build rapport and trust with youth through consistent and empathetic interactions Distribute basic need supplies such as food, hygiene kits, water, clothing, and harm reduction items Provide youth with information on shelter access, mental health services, health care, and supportive programs Respond to crisis situations and make appropriate referrals to emergency shelter, law enforcement, or medical care as needed Collaborate with schools, service agencies, law enforcement, shelters, and other community partners to strengthen outreach and referral pathways Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with grant and agency requirements Participate in the development of youth-centered outreach strategies and materials (e.g., flyers, posters, social media posts) Education:
Bachelor's degree in a behavioral science or related degree
Licensure/Certification:
Able to obtain a class E driver's license and meet KVC Missouri's requirement for driver's insurance
Qualifications:
Strong customer service focus, excellent time management, organizational, oral and written communication skills. Must be proficient in Word, Excel and email applications.
Experience:
Experience in social services, residential treatment, education, or another related field Previous experience working with children/families in a trauma informed environment
