Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, the

Shipping and Receiving Associate 's responsibilities are to ship all products according to Renco standards.

What You'll Do

Adhere to Shipping Policies Follow Standex- Renco's shipping guidelines to maintain consistency and accuracy in all outgoing shipments. Order Verification

Confirm the accuracy of each shipment by cross-checking the picklist and verifying all parts. Secure Packaging

Pack products according to company standards to prevent damage during transit. Documentation Management

Ensure all required shipping documents are correctly placed and included with each order. Timely Shipment

Verify that all orders are shipped in alignment with customer ship dates to support on-time delivery. Policy Compliance

Follow all departmental and company procedures to support operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. Inventory Coordination

Collaborate with inventory and receiving teams to ensure accurate stock levels and resolve discrepancies. Carrier Communication

Coordinate with shipping carriers (e.g., FedEx, UPS, freight companies) to schedule pickups and resolve delivery issues. System Updates

Enter shipment details into the company's ERP or tracking system to maintain accurate records and enable traceability. Quality Control

Inspect outgoing shipments for accuracy, completeness, and quality before final packaging. Safety Compliance

Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized shipping area to ensure a safe working environment. Process Improvement

Identify opportunities to improve shipping efficiency and participate in continuous improvement initiatives. Additional Responsibilities

Perform other duties as assigned to support the shipping department and overall business operations. What You'll Bring

Two years' of Shipping experience Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and those related to the position Ability to speak fluently with customers, managers, and fellow employees Willing and able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
