Vice President, Facilities
Position Summary:
The Vice President, Facilities will oversee all aspects of maintenance and repair operations within our property portfolio. This leadership role is responsible for developing and implementing maintenance strategies, managing the maintenance team, ensuring compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements, and driving operational efficiencies. They will be tasked with ensuring successful onsite visit inspections, HUD inspections, and any state/lender required inspections and/or repairs. This role will also develop, implement, and maintain a successful facility training program. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining the integrity and value of our properties, while ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for our tenants. This role will directly over-see the team of Regional/District Facilities and work directly with the Regional/District Managers for overall portfolio success.
Key Responsibilities: Lead, develop, and oversee the company's facilities department, including all maintenance staff and third-party contractors, national supplier contracts, preferred pricing, etc. Prepare and execute detailed plans for NSPIRE inspections, ensuring all properties meet the necessary standards and guidelines. Prioritizing and auditing property preventative maintenance programs. Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance and repair strategies that align with the company's objectives and financial targets. Ensure all properties are maintained to the highest standards and are compliant with all local, state, and federal regulations. Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for the facilities department, including cost control measures to optimize resources. Implement technology and processes that improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance the tenant experience. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovation and efficiency in maintenance practices. Coordinate with other departments, including Property Management and Development, to ensure seamless operations and high tenant satisfaction. Oversee emergency response strategies for maintenance issues, ensuring quick and effective resolution. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, advancements in maintenance technology, and sustainability practices. Lead by example, promoting a culture of safety, professionalism, and respect across the organization. What We Offer
