Job Description
We're looking for a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team in Woodridge, IL 60517. We have two direct-hire positions available, one of which can be filled at the lead level for the right candidate.
Shift Details Hours: Monday to Friday, 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM Shift Differential: We offer a 10% shift differential in addition to your hourly pay. Role Summary
As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts. You'll apply your knowledge of mechanics, mathematics, and metal properties to fabricate, modify, and repair parts and instruments.
Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC machines to create precision components. Perform routine operational and maintenance tasks on equipment. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and geometric tolerances. Use precision measuring equipment like micrometers, dial indicators, and depth gauges. Ensure all work complies with quality standards and safety procedures. Communicate effectively with team members. Requirements
High school diploma or GED. 2+ years of machining experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong experience with CNC Lathe setup. Proficiency in reading blueprints and using precision measuring tools. Preferred Skills
Experience with CNC programming is a big plus. Manual machining experience is also a plus. Compensation & Benefits
Pay: The hourly rate for this position is $25.00 - $35.00, based on experience.
