Maintenance Technician - Automation
Location: Buffalo Grove, IL Shift: 12-Hour Rotating Days or Nights (6:00 AM - 6:00 PM) or (6:00 PM - 6AM)
Are you a hands-on problem solver who loves working with automation, robotics, and complex machinery? Join our team as a Maintenance Technician - Automation and play a key role in keeping our production running at peak performance.
What You'll Do Troubleshoot and repair automation, assembly, packaging, and robotic equipment Perform preventive maintenance and root cause analysis to minimize downtime Work with electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and PLC-based systems Assist with robot arm repairs, control adjustments, and program uploads Partner with operations to maintain product quality and safety standards Support continuous improvement by suggesting new ideas and solutions What We're Looking For
High School Diploma or equivalent 3+ years of hands-on maintenance/technical experience Experience with automation, robotics, and complex assembly equipment Strong background in electrical, pneumatics, hydraulics, and PLC troubleshooting Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and work on your feet during 12-hour shifts Bonus: SAP experience, Lean Manufacturing knowledge, or mechanical aptitude with hand tools Why You'll Love Working Here
