At the direction of the Production Control Manager work with Vendors, Production, Accounting, Engineering and Customer Service to ensure products meet on-time delivery (OTD) and budget objectives. Track production schedules and coordinate product inventory to ensure efficient and effective operation of the Cudahy plant.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Participate in daily Line Walk and recurring Ship Plan Meetings. Collaborates with Production Control Manager, Operations staff, and Outside Process Vendors to maintain plans and production commitments to best serve client or customer needs. Material and workflow coordination: Expedite the flow of materials, parts, and work orders between departments and external suppliers to ensure timely availability. Inventory control: Monitor and maintain inventory levels, track work-in-process (WIP), and assist with cycle counts to ensure accuracy. Problem resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, such as material shortages or schedule delays, and communicate solutions to management. Data management: Maintain accurate data in MRP/ERP systems, analyze production metrics, and generate reports on production status and needs. Quality and compliance: Ensure parts are handled correctly and adhere to CPP specifications, coordinate outside processing, and help resolve quality discrepancies. Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with engineering, planning, procurement, and production teams to ensure smooth operations. Perform other related duties, as required. QUALIFICATIONS

Education : HS Diploma Experience : Manufacturing Experience. Minimum one (1) to three (3) years related manufacturing experience. Certifications/Licenses : None, Professional Certification by the American Production and Inventory control Society (APICS) preferred. Other Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Strong understanding of material flow and shop-floor layout. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency with manufacturing resource planning (MRP) or similar systems. Problem-solving and analytical skills. Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities. Familiarity with quality, safety, and continuous improvement principles. WORKING ENVIRONMENT

Working Environment : Office Environment; frequent visits to shop floor. Physical Demands : Sitting/Standing for extended periods of time, able to lift up to 30lbs. Extended periods of time using a computer screen. Extended periods of time using a keyboard. Travel Requirements : up to 10%. Required PPE : Check for required PPE in areas you may be working in. Safety Glasses : Needed in all areas of the plant. Steel toe shoes:
