Responsibilities Work in a home health setting serving patients throughout the Wausau area Average assignment of 20-25 patients with approximately 4.5 visits per day Travel distance ranges from 25-60 miles daily depending on territory and census Typical schedule is 8-hour day shifts, usually 8 AM to 4:30 PM, with some flexibility depending on census Weekend and holiday rotations are required every 5th cycle No on-call requirements, but may float to Medford, Antigo, or WI Rapids if needed Documentation required in Oasis; Epic experience is preferred Responsibilities include Oasis admissions, all time points, episode management, physician calls, care coordination, and timely EMR documentation Must be able to manage change well, demonstrate resilience, and utilize strong time management skills Positive attitude, accountability, and dependability are expected Required to wear navy blue scrubs Travelers must live at least 50 miles from the facility First week orientation hours may vary, and hours are not guaranteed during holidays when the unit is closed Low census may result in up to 36 unbillable hours and possible on-call assignment during that period Requirements Active WI or Compact RN license required at time of application Current AHA BLS certification required Valid driver's license required Minimum 2 years of recent home health nursing experience required Prior travel nursing experience required Experience with Oasis documentation required; Epic EMR experience preferred Clinical competency in wound care, IVs, ports, lab draws, and chronic disease management Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-625646.
