Senior Amazon Connect Telephony Developer - PERM FTE

Location: 100% REMOTE

Type: Full-Time | No Sponsorship | Senior Level

Salary Range: Competitive - Typically between $125,000 - $155,000, depending on where you live. PLUS automatic 13% BONUS plus 20% PROFIT SHARING!

Description: Senior Amazon Connect Telephony Developer role focused on owning end-to-end telephony with Amazon Connect and Salesforce Service Cloud Voice, and driving cloud-native integrations, voice analytics, and customer experience improvements.

What You'll Need

  • 5-10+ years in telephony/contact center engineering.
  • 3+ years hands-on experience with Amazon Connect.
  • 2+ years with Salesforce Service Cloud Voice.
  • MUST HAVE AWS services: Lambda, EventBridge, Kinesis, DynamoDB, S3, CloudWatch.
  • Telephony fundamentals (SIP, RTP, QoS).
  • Experience with REST APIs, event-driven architectures, and security best practices.
  • Experience with Agentforce or Salesforce Professional.
  • CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation, CDK, Terraform).
  • Salesforce certifications (Admin, Platform App Builder, Service Cloud Consultant).
  • AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, Developer, DevOps).
  • Exposure to other CCaaS platforms (Genesys, Five9, Twilio).
  • Real-time analytics tools (Athena, QuickSight, Snowflake).
  • SSO/Identity management (Okta, Azure AD).

What You'll Do
  • Architect and optimize Amazon Connect & Salesforce Service Cloud Voice platforms (must have both Salesforce Service Cloud and Amazon Connect).
  • Build and maintain contact flows, Lex bots, call routing, and analytics using AWS services.
  • Develop Lambda functions (Node.js/Python) to enhance voice capabilities & integrations.
  • Deliver dashboards & reporting tools for contact center performance metrics.
  • Partner with network/security teams to ensure QoS and secure IAM configurations.
