Job Overview/Summary
The Clinical Research Specialist III is responsible for supporting and managing clinical research projects while ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and organizational standards. This role requires exceptional organizational, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
Responsibilities
Coordinate and manage clinical research activities in compliance with study protocols and regulatory requirements Ensure accurate data collection, documentation, and reporting Collaborate with clinics, hospitals, and associated agencies to support research activities Maintain required certifications and licensure for clinical research practice Communicate effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and levels of leadership Adhere to safety protocols when handling hazardous materials, study agents, biohazards, and pathology specimens Provide own transportation to research sites as required Participate in developmental, educational, and promotional activities related to research Maintain physical and mental stamina to function effectively in a dynamic environment with multiple fluctuating priorities

Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma or GED required Experience: Minimum of eight years of relevant experience required. Associate's degree may substitute for 1 year of experience, Bachelor's degree may substitute for 2 years, and Master's degree may substitute for 3 years. Minimum of five years of clinical research experience required Licensure/Certification: SoCRA or ACRP, CCRP required. Valid driver's license in appropriate state required Additional Skills (required): Exceptional organizational and analytical skills Self-motivated and able to work independently Ability to meet multiple deadlines for concurrent projects Ability to work in a team-oriented setting Excellent computer skills and medical terminology competency Ability to provide own transportation to clinics, hospitals, and associated agencies Manual dexterity and ability to lift light to medium weight objects Physical and mental stamina for managing multiple priorities Effective communication with individuals of diverse backgrounds and leadership levels Awareness of exposure to hazardous materials
