We are looking for a full time and we will consider part time Industrial Maintenance/Mechanic to work first shift, and are open to flexible work schedules. In this position you will diagnose and repair various kinds of equipment while working with safety as a primary focus.
What you’ll do:
Perform preventative and general maintenance on equipment in a light industrial facilities. Types of equipment include:
- Hydraulic and pneumatic equipment
- Forklifts
- Staple guns
- Baltec Presses
- Speedycut Tapping machines
- Clausing Spindle Drill
- AirMite punches
- Manual lathe
- Drill press
- Band saw
- Grinder
- Other shop equipment as needed.
Other duties include:
- Setup and changeover production line equipment
- Perform basic plumbing and electrical repairs
- Open building when needed
- Assist in areas outside of your primary responsibility and learn other skills, as required.
Education and experience
- 2- 5 years’ experience troubleshooting and repairing equipment
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Working knowledge of metal fabrication machines
- Working knowledge of electrical systems
- Working knowledge of HVAC system
- Working knowledge of production tooling and fixtures
