This role is ideal for a strong Senior Accountant ready for the next step or a newer Accounting Manager looking for a high impact role with a clear path to leadership. Position Overview:

The

Accounting Manager / Supervisor

will possess healthcare industry experience and oversee core accounting operations to help drive continuous improvement across financial processes.

You'll work closely with leadership to ensure accurate reporting, sound financial management, and efficient accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day accounting functions, including general ledger, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close. Prepare and analyze

weekly reports

and

daily census data

to support decision-making. Manage and support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities through staff or directly as needed. Lead efforts to improve financial reporting and accuracy across the

revenue cycle . Understand and manage healthcare-specific accounting elements, including: AR and revenue recognition Contractual allowances Partner with the revenue cycle team to strengthen financial insights and reporting. Ensure accurate recording of financial transactions and adherence to GAAP principles. Drive improvements in financial processes and internal controls. Serve as a key accountability point within the finance function-someone who "owns" the numbers. Requirements

Bachelor's degree

in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 3+ years of accounting experience in healthcare

(required). Strong understanding of healthcare revenue cycle operations and reporting. Demonstrated experience with month end close and financial statement preparation. Experience with capital projects, vendor management, and reconciliations (plus). Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail. Self-starter who thrives in a hands-on environment and is eager to "dig in."
