Oracle Cloud Finance Business Systems Analyst

We are seeking an experienced
Oracle Cloud Finance Business Systems Analyst (RTR Lead)
for a 1+ year contract engagement. The ideal candidate will have deep functional expertise in Oracle Cloud Financials and a proven track record leading Record-to-Report (RTR) implementations. This role will focus on implementing and optimizing key Oracle Finance modules, including
General Ledger (GL), Cash Management (CM), Accounts Payable (AP), Fixed Assets (FA), and Intercompany . The position is
primarily remote , with
occasional travel (up to 20%)
to
Austin, Houston, or San Francisco . All travel expenses will be covered.
Key Responsibilities: Oracle Finance Implementation & Support Lead the end-to-end implementation of Oracle Cloud Financial modules:
General Ledger (GL), Cash Management (CM), Accounts Payable (AP), Fixed Assets (FA), and Intercompany . Gather and analyze business requirements, translate them into system configurations, and validate end-to-end functionality. Configure and test Oracle Financials modules in alignment with best practices and business needs. Manage system testing cycles, including
SIT, UAT, and regression testing , ensuring high-quality delivery. Support data migration, validation, and reconciliation activities across finance modules. Facilitate month-end and year-end close activities, ensuring smooth financial operations post-implementation. Cross-Functional Collaboration
Collaborate with stakeholders across
Finance, Accounting, and IT
to align business processes with system capabilities. Serve as a liaison between functional users and technical teams for issue resolution and system enhancements. Provide guidance to offshore/onsite teams on functional configuration and testing deliverables. Process Improvement & Governance
Recommend process optimizations and standardization opportunities within the RTR cycle. Ensure compliance with
corporate policies, accounting standards, and audit requirements . Document functional specifications, business processes, and system configurations for knowledge transfer and audit purposes. Leadership & Communication
Serve as a
subject matter expert (SME)
and trusted advisor to stakeholders on Oracle Cloud Financials functionality and integration points. Lead workshops and training sessions for business users and project teams. Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and executive stakeholders to report progress and risks.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum 10 years
of professional experience in
Oracle Financials , with at least
3+ years in Oracle Cloud ERP
implementations. Deep functional expertise in the following modules:
Accounts Payable (AP) Cash Management (CM) General Ledger (GL) Fixed Assets (FA) Intercompany
Strong understanding of the
Record-to-Report (RTR)
business process and accounting best practices. Proven experience in
configuration, testing, and post-production support
for Oracle Cloud Financials. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation abilities.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
Experience with
multi-entity or global financial system implementations . Familiarity with
integration touchpoints
between Oracle Financials and other systems (e.g., Procurement, Projects, or external reporting tools). Knowledge of
data migration, reporting, and Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI) . CPA, MBA, or advanced finance qualifications are a plus.
