Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with business stakeholders, product managers, and technology teams to define, document, and validate business requirements. Analyze and document processes related to
portfolio management, fund accounting, trade lifecycle, asset servicing, and risk management . Prepare detailed
Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) ,
Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs) ,
use cases ,
process maps , and
data flow diagrams . Work closely with development and QA teams to ensure business requirements are translated into effective technology solutions. Support
UAT (User Acceptance Testing)
and assist in test case preparation, validation, and defect resolution. Drive business process improvements and digital transformation within the
wealth and investment management
ecosystem. Ensure compliance with
regulatory standards
such as
MiFID II, FATCA, AML/KYC, and GDPR , and align deliverables with industry best practices. Act as a liaison between business and technology teams, ensuring clarity, alignment, and timely delivery of project outcomes. Utilize
Agile/Scrum
methodologies for sprint planning, backlog management, and collaborative solution development. Create and maintain documentation in
JIRA ,
Confluence , or other project management tools. Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field (MBA or CFA preferred). 8-12 years of experience
as a Business Analyst within the
BFSI domain , specifically in
Financial Services
or
Investment Management . Strong knowledge of financial products -
Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives, Mutual Funds, ETFs, and Alternative Investments . Familiarity with
front-office, middle-office, and back-office
processes across trading, settlement, and reconciliation. Experience working with
portfolio management systems, trading platforms, and financial data providers
(e.g., Bloomberg, Reuters, Charles River, Aladdin). Proficiency in
business process modeling ,
data mapping , and
requirements documentation . Solid understanding of
Agile and Scrum
frameworks, with experience using
JIRA
and
Confluence
for project management. Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and stakeholder engagement skills.
