The School of Graduate Studies and Continuing Education at the University of Wisconsin - Whitewater seeks a Family and District Support Specialist (Admissions and Recruitment Coordinator I (AE025).

Job Details:

The Dual Enrollment Family and District Support Specialist provides critical front-line assistance for dual enrollment operations, serving as the first point of contact for students, families, and district partners. This position handles daily communications, data entry, and coordination tasks to ensure smooth program function. By maintaining accurate records and delivering excellent customer service, the administrative support staff contributes to the success of students and the strength of district partnerships. This is a 12-month position with flexibility in FTE ranging from 0.7 to 1.0.

Key Job Responsibilities:

Program Coordination Assistance Assist in distributing program materials to students, families, and district partners Provide logistical support for outreach events, visits to high schools, or information sessions Help monitor deadlines related to registration, billing, or required documentation, sending reminders as needed Collaborate with other dual enrollment staff on projects or special initiatives as assigned Administrative and Data Support

Enter and update student records, enrollment details, and district partnership information, as appropriate Assist with compiling reports, tracking student success indicators, and maintaining data accuracy for compliance and internal use Support scheduling, calendar management, and logistics for dual enrollment orientations, meetings, and events Prepare correspondence, forms, and documents to support program operations Front-Line Communication

Serve as the first point of contact for inquiries from students, parents/guardians, and district partners via phone, email, and in-person communication Provide accurate information about program procedures, deadlines, and student support resources Screen and route inquiries appropriately to advisors, faculty, or managers Maintain a professional, service-oriented approach that represents the dual enrollment program positively Department:

Compensation:

Well-qualified candidates can expect a starting hourly wage within a range of $19.75/hr - $23.00/hr.

Required Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or an associate's degree preferred 3+ years previous administrative, clerical, or customer service experience, ideally in an education setting Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfort learning new data systems Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality Professional, approachable demeanor with commitment to quality customer service Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
