Opportunity As a casualty line curiosity, you will provide actuarial pricing support for the company’s new and existing Casualty Excess and Surplus products. Your work will shape competitive solutions and help meet business goals.

Responsibilities

Launch new products and enhance existing casualty products.

Develop and maintain pricing tools for account pricing and portfolio steering.

Prepare pricing analyses, including rate development, ultimate loss projections, and result communication.

Update actuarial models and databases through formula development and methodology research.

Monitor results and support pricing/portfolio management projects for underwriters and leadership.

Apply exposure adjustments, trend analysis, and loss development techniques to pricing.

Identify data issues requiring actuarial review.

Participate in Line of Business Expert Groups and offer actuarial insights.

Stay current with commercial property market dynamics.

Pursue CAS exams and continuing education.

Assist in underwriter training and mentor analyst‑level colleagues.

Qualifications

Membership in the Casualty Actuarial Society as an Associate (ACAS) or Fellow (FCAS).

Five or more years of primary insurance pricing experience.

Strong technical actuarial skills and understanding of rating models.

Excellent interpersonal, influencing, negotiation, and communication skills.

Proficiency with statistical software such as R or Python for pricing applications.

Compensation & Benefits Base Salary : $141,800 ‑ $226,100 (geographically adjusted) plus bonus potential.
