Summary The Associate HR Data Analyst is responsible for the governance of HR data, with a focus on conducting analysis to distinguish patterns and recognize trends, to support business operations and for assuring data quality.

The associate data analyst will bring data into a common structure, creating models and developing data solutions to support analyses, performing analysis, interpreting results, developing actionable insights and presenting recommendations for use across HR and the company. This role will partner with stakeholders to understand data requirements and develop tools and models such as segmentation, dashboards, data visualizations, decision aids and business case analysis to support business and organizational needs.

Responsibilities

Extract information from internal systems, industry reports, public information, field reports, and other data sources to identify correlations

Conduct statistical analyses and randomized controlled trials

Consume and consolidate large amounts of data into centralized, sustainable, and repeatable measurements

Apply statistical, mathematical, predictive modeling and business analysis to manage and manipulate complex high-volume data from a variety of sources

Develop, analyze, and model operational, management, and other organizational data

Quantify the competitive performance of business segments

Evaluate potential operational changes

Design new approaches and methodologies

Provide data to facilitate analyses of organizational performance and assist in providing innovative corrective actions when necessary

Track trend analyses and programmatic changes that result in a growing data base of useful information

Present analysis and recommendations for operational and business review/planning

Effectively work and build relationships with those of diverse backgrounds and organizational levels

All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Biological Sciences, Mathematics, Statistics, Analytics, or related field or equivalent experience in reporting and data analysis

Minimum one year of related experience in reporting and data analysis

Knowledge of standard programming language such as SAS, C, C++, Python, or Java preferred

Experience with analytics and visualization tools preferred

Ability to concisely present and explain large amounts of information

Ability to think analytically with great attention to detail

Shown ability to follow complex instructions

Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Active listening skills and effective communication including an openness to diverse input and feedback

The base pay range for this role is $58,100 – $78,400. (Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL — 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR — 10%, Washington, D.C. — 12.5%).

Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity.
