We are seeking a full‑time day shift leader for plumbing, pipe fitting, and steam fitting at Harborview Medical Center, one of Washington’s leading Level I trauma and burn centers.
Job Description $3,000 Sign‑On Bonus
for eligible full‑time and part‑time new employees joining UW Medicine.
Schedule : Full‑time – Days Monday through Friday 7 AM – 3:30 PM
Position Highlights : This employee will assign and lead work at project or job sites, instruct subordinates, correct methods, and perform plumbing, steam fitting, and pipe fitting work.
Primary Duties
Perform all duties of a plumber/pipefitter/steamfitter.
Lead assigned personnel in the performance of work.
Assure adherence to safety rules and precautions by assigned personnel.
Develop preliminary cost estimates for installation, construction, and repairs.
Develop methods and procedures to be followed by assigned personnel.
May perform work in other trades.
Required Qualifications
One‑year, full‑time experience as a journey plumber/pipefitter/steamfitter or equivalent trade skill. Possession of a valid motor vehicle operator’s license may be required.
Equivalent education and/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications except when legal requirements, such as a license, certification or registration, are mandatory.

Compensation & Benefits Pay Range : $87,684.00 – $116,904.00 annual.
