Sr. IT PM - M&A and Supply Chain
Remote 12‑month contract, hourly rate $62/W2.
Role Overview NTT DATA’s client seeks an experienced Project Manager with strong expertise in SAP project management, specifically in acquisition and merger environments. The successful candidate will lead the setup of a new plant within the existing SAP system and manage the migration, integration, and validation processes related to transferring data and systems from Sanofi SAP into the TFS SAP environment. This role requires coordination with multiple stakeholders, driving solution workshops, ensuring compliance and validation, managing budgets, and reporting project status to leadership and steering committees.
Key Responsibilities / Deliverables
SAP Plant Setup: Lead the setup of a new plant within the Greenville SAP system.
Solution Confirmation & Workshops: Organize and conduct solution walkthroughs with the Ridgefield team to align on scope and confirm system readiness.
Validation: Ensure all system changes and integrations meet validation requirements and regulatory standards.
Data Migration: Oversee migration of data from the current Sanofi SAP system to the TFS SAP environment.
User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Plan, coordinate, and execute UAT phases with business stakeholders.
System Integration: Manage integration of SAP with existing TFS applications and identify potential integrations with newly acquired applications.
Governance & Reporting: Provide regular updates using Planview EPPM for project tracking and reporting, present progress, risks, and decisions to the steering committee and leadership teams, and manage project budgets with accurate financial tracking, forecasting, and reporting.
Key Skills & Experience
SAP Project Management (4‑5 years): Hands‑on experience delivering SAP projects in acquisition, merger, or carve‑out scenarios, with proven expertise in SAP data/environment transfers.
Cross‑Functional Leadership (4‑5 years): Ability to collaborate across business functions and technical integration teams.
Validation & Compliance (4‑5 years): Strong knowledge of system validation processes in regulated industries.
Data Migration (4‑5 years): Practical experience managing large‑scale SAP data migration activities.
UAT & Integration Management (4‑5 years): Skilled in coordinating user acceptance testing and overseeing system integrations.
Project Reporting Tools (4‑5 years): Proficiency with Planview EPPM for project status tracking and reporting.
Executive Communication (4‑5 years): Experience preparing and delivering updates to steering committees and senior leadership.
Financial Management (4‑5 years): Strong background in managing project budgets, forecasting, and cost reporting.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, business, or related field.
10+ years of overall IT Project Management experience, with 4‑5 years focused on SAP‑related projects.
PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred.
Prior experience in pharma, life sciences, or manufacturing industry is a plus.
