Responsibilities

Provide systems‑level support for EMC/EMI in NASA Spaceflight Programs.

Perform EMC analysis, test planning, and circuit test and analysis.

Evaluate test data and waivers on EMI, electrostatic discharge, corona, grounding, isolation, bonding, and wiring.

Prepare progress reports and schedules to support design reviews and team meetings.

Qualifications

Degree from an ABET‑accredited university in Electrical Engineering or Physics (Master’s preferred) or equivalent experience.

At least 3 years of experience post‑Master’s or 5 years post‑Bachelor’s in EMC analysis, test planning, and critical circuit test and analysis.

Proficiency in evaluating test data and applying waivers, familiarity with MIL‑STD‑461/462, and experience with space or flight hardware.

Proficient with PC and relevant software.

Experience with ISS hardware and payloads is a plus.

Proof of U.S. citizenship required.

Essential Functions and Physical Requirements

Office and laboratory environment.

Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.

Travel within the USA

Extended periods of sitting in meetings (10%) and at a desk (40%).

Use of stairs/elevators required.

Operate personal computer and general office equipment.

Work Hours Normal workday is 7:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m., Monday‑Friday. Minimal overtime (10%) may be required.
