Doyon Government Group (DGG) is a trusted federal contractor specializing in Design-Build and General Construction services for government-owned facilities and military installations. Our projects span demolition, new construction, renovations, repairs, and civil infrastructure work. We are currently hiring an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead and manage complex federal construction projects, primarily with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) and Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC). This is a high-impact role overseeing multiple $10M+ projects across different locations.
Key Responsibilities
Manage multiple federal construction projects from preconstruction through close-out
Lead contract administration, budgeting, procurement, and project execution
Develop, maintain, and communicate detailed project schedules
Ensure all work complies with contract documents, safety standards (EM 385-1-1), and government regulations
Direct field operations, subcontractor management, and onsite engineering efforts
Lead and participate in WIP (Work in Progress) and internal project review meetings
Use project management software and Microsoft Office tools for tracking and reporting
Oversee risk management, pricing, contract negotiations, and labor relations
Required Qualifications
5+ years of Project Management experience on federal government construction projects
Proven success managing $10M+ projects for USACE and/or NAVFAC
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
Strong knowledge of construction practices, cost control, scheduling, and estimating
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong Excel skills
Experience with project management and CPM scheduling software
Ability to read and interpret contracts, drawings, specs, and scopes of work
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Certifications
OSHA 30
EM 385-1-1
CPR/First Aid
Construction Quality Management (CQM) for Contractors
