Seeking a talented Manufacturing Engineer to join a leading team in Humboldt, TN. This position supports engineered driveline, sealing, and thermal‑management technologies while driving process improvements, innovation, and efficiency across manufacturing operations.

Shift: 1st | 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Pay: $32.00 - $39.00 per hour (based on experience)

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you'll work across all aspects of production to enhance existing processes and develop new ones. You'll be responsible for tooling, manufacturing expenses, product flow, and material handling applications while ensuring compliance with ISO‑9001 standards. This role also includes forecasting capital expenditures and collaborating with Operations to support future product development and capacity planning.

Responsibilities

Evaluate manufacturing feasibility for new products and technologies.

Provide technical direction and support for all manufacturing processes.

Implement machining methods and process improvements through CAD/CAM programming.

Procure specialized tools and gages, including design evaluation and expenditure justification.

Develop and maintain engineering documentation for manufacturing operations.

Analyze vendor deviations and recommend corrective actions.

Forecast and manage capital expenditures.

Supervise equipment installation and setup personnel for new process testing.

Design fixtures and optimize automation processes to enhance productivity.

Apply Lean manufacturing, Kaizen, and Six Sigma principles for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Engineering/Manufacturing Technology.

3+ years of manufacturing engineering experience preferred.

Experience with PLC systems preferred.

Strong skills in AutoCAD 2D and SolidWorks 3D design software.

Proven experience in CNC programming, machining fixture design, and cutting tool applications.

Ability to manage tooling budgets and assess forming issues to improve product quality.

Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and work independently.

Experience with Lean, Kaizen, or Six Sigma methodologies a plus.
