Seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join a leading manufacturing team in Humboldt, TN. If you have a strong background in engineering, process improvement, and quality systems, this is a great opportunity to make a real impact.

Shift: 1st | 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Pay: $32.00 - $39.00 per hour (based on experience)

As a Quality Engineer, you'll support engineered driveline, sealing, and thermal‑management technologies while ensuring consistent quality across manufacturing processes. You'll oversee the proper use of tools, materials, and procedures, and work closely with the quality team to create and maintain product standards.

Responsibilities

Manage the internal audit function for the quality system and drive continuous improvement.

Maintain and control documentation change management systems.

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to develop PFMEAs, control plans, and work instructions.

Perform MSA and capability studies on gages and equipment.

Investigate and resolve quality issues, including customer‑returned materials.

Conduct process capability studies, quality audits, and customer visits.

Provide coaching on statistical methods and assist with process improvements and data analysis.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred) and 2-5 years of related experience.

Experience with FMEAs, Process Control Plans, Root Cause Analysis, and Corrective Actions.

Strong organizational, time management, and project leadership skills.

Proficient in Minitab or other statistical analysis software.

Skilled in interpreting engineering drawings, GD&T, and technical specifications.

Solid understanding of APQP and program management techniques.

ASQ Certified Quality Engineer preferred; IATF‑16949 Certified Quality Auditor preferred or able to obtain within one year.

Automotive industry experience strongly preferred.
