The Position We’re seeking an experienced
Architectural Project Manager
with a strong background in
multi-family housing
and
Type I & Type V construction
to join our Oakland studio. This individual will lead complex projects from concept through construction, guiding teams through all phases of design while maintaining close client collaboration and ensuring project success.
Architectural Project Manager
Oakland, CA | Full-Time | Hybrid Schedule
What You’ll Do
Manage all phases of multi-family and mixed-use projects, including planning, design development, documentation, and construction administration
Serve as the main point of contact for clients, consultants, and internal teams
Oversee project schedules, budgets, and deliverables to ensure quality and consistency
Lead and mentor junior staff, fostering collaboration and professional growth
Coordinate with technical staff to ensure code compliance, constructability, and project feasibility
Participate in design reviews and contribute to the firm’s creative and technical excellence standards
Maintain proactive communication with consultants and contractors to resolve design and field issues
What You Need (Qualifications)
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture
Minimum
5+ years
of architectural experience with a focus on
multi-family residential
and
Type I & Type V projects
Proven ability to manage complex, large-scale housing projects through all design phases
Strong knowledge of building codes, construction systems, and detailing
Proficiency with Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and related design tools
Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills
Architectural licensure (CA license a plus)
What’s Offered (Competitive Full Package –)
Salary: $110-135,000/year (DOE)
