The iconic Hotel del Coronado is looking for a
Seasonal Cook I
to join the Veranda team. Located just minutes from Downtown San Diego on Coronado Island, this historic resort has been revitalized with a $400M renovation and now boasts over 750 rooms, cottages, villas, and 65,000 square feet of banquet space across 10 food and beverage outlets.
Classification Seasonal – starting November 17, 2025, ending no later than January 4, 2026.
Shift Various – must be available weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
Pay Rate $24.32/hour, based on applicable experience and location.
What will I be doing?
Prepare food items according to designated recipes and quality standards.
Maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation standards at all times.
Manage guest orders in a friendly, timely, and efficient manner.
Ensure knowledge of menu and all food products.
Stock and maintain designated food station(s).
Visually inspect all food sent from the kitchen.
Practice correct food handling and food storage procedures according to federal, state, local, and company regulations.
Prepare requisitions for supplies and food items, as needed.
