Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Project Manager with strong organizational and coordination expertise to oversee retail display projects and manage production workflows with our overseas manufacturing teams. This role requires exceptional communication, project management, and cross-cultural collaboration skills to successfully execute complex projects from concept through delivery. The position demands dedication, patience, adaptability, and cultural awareness to work effectively across time zones with global teams and diverse clients.

Location & Work Expectations

Location: United States (Hybrid/On-site)

Work Arrangements: Full-time Mon – Fri with flexibility required for international collaboration

Reports To: Senior Director, Program Management

Travel: As needed, including potential international travel to Jiaxing, China facility

Key Responsibilities Client & Stakeholder Communication

Serve as key point of contact for assigned projects, ensuring outstanding service and communication throughout the project lifecycle

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders, demonstrating professionalism and business etiquette

Translate project requirements into actionable plans and manage expectations professionally

Collect and organize project assets (logos, artwork, specifications, technical drawings)

Project & Production Management

Oversee multiple retail display projects from design approval to final delivery

Manage project trackers, timelines, budgets, and quality standards ensuring seamless execution

Coordinate with engineering, design, logistics, and procurement teams in U.S. and China

Proactively identify risks and implement solutions using critical thinking and common sense

Review samples, materials, and prototypes ensuring quality and specification compliance

Draft professional meeting notes, project updates, and status communications

Adapt quickly to changing circumstances, project requirements, and production challenges

Cross-Functional & International Collaboration

Communicate daily with overseas-based teams and U.S. Warehouse Logistics on production, quality, and shipping

Exercise cultural awareness, open-mindedness, and patience when navigating cross-cultural communication

Navigate time zone effectively to maintain efficient workflow

Coordinate with logistics partners on freight, customs clearance, and delivery schedules

Project Documentation & Reporting

Maintain comprehensive project documentation and ensure all stakeholders have current information

Monitor project performance and identify opportunities for process improvements

Prepare professional project presentations and detailed post-project summaries with timelines and metrics

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, Industrial Design, or related field (or equivalent experience)

3-5 years in project management

Understanding of manufacturing processes, materials (metal, wood, acrylic), and production workflows

Exceptional written and verbal communication – excellent writing and presentation skills

Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build and maintain key stakeholder relationships

Cultural awareness, open-mindedness, patience, and tolerance working with diverse teams

Professionalism, business etiquette, and critical thinking abilities

Willingness to work beyond standard hours for international collaboration and project demands

Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management tools

Experience with overseas manufacturing partners (China experience)

Familiarity with logistics, customs documentation, and freight forwarding

Technical knowledge of production drawings, BOMs, and quality control processes

PMP certification or similar project management credentials
