SharePoint SME/Migration Engineer
Locale:
Alpharetta, GA 30005 – Hybrid (Onsite 3 days a week)

Summary: The SharePoint Engineering team builds the SharePoint platform (On‑prem and Cloud) for firmwide collaboration and application hosting & development. The role focuses on designing and implementing Office 365 Document Management governance best practices, onboarding clients to the Office 365 platform, and developing custom tools for SharePoint, Power Apps, Power Automate, Planner, Microsoft Information Protection, and related services.
Required Skills:
Strong understanding of Modern Authentication, Graph API, Azure AD Application
Implementation of SharePoint site and group site permissions
OneDrive account, site, and permissions management
Strong troubleshooting experience with OneDrive, SharePoint, and Office 365 sync clients (desktop, web, mobile)
Development of applications and system tools for on‑prem and cloud infrastructure
Experience with GitHub, Jira, and continuous integration technology in an SDLC agile context
Strong SharePoint fundamentals: lists, document libraries, permissions, content types, workflows
Office 365 SharePoint Online and OneDrive application development, management & deployment
Understanding of Exchange Online, user profiles, features, and mail flow
Maintain and support SharePoint, OneDrive, and Office 365
Add good communication skills for end‑user training and support sessions
Collaborate with end‑users and business owners to create/update sites, lists, libraries, pages, apps, forms, and workflows
Experience with Agile delivery methodology
Track issues, resolve or escalated to core engineering or Microsoft support as needed
Reorganize & restructure site contents
Teach changes in new platform features and provide guidance on existing functionalities
Demonstrate SharePoint features and provide specialized consulting on out‑of‑the‑box capabilities
Research and suggest new feature usage and implementation on the new platform
SQL programming experience
Understanding of other Office 365 services: Unified Groups/Teams, PowerApps, Power Automate
