Traffic Engineer - Madison – Hybrid - Primary

Responsibilities:

traffic analysis and modeling

safety studies

traffic signal design

roundabout analysis

parking studies

transportation planning

pedestrian and bicycle evaluations

multi-modal evaluations

traffic signal timing

signing and pavement markings

work zone analysis

intersection control evaluations

conceptual improvement designs

providing traffic support for public and private clients

technical writing

Requirements:

Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from a U.S. accredited college or university with coursework in transportation and preferably traffic

Excellent communication skills

Strong problem solving skills

Sound decision-making skills

Experience with AutoCAD/Civil3D, Synchro, HCS, and Sidra is desired.
