Job Title Construction Project Coordinator
Department Construction/Project Management
Reports To Project Manager / Senior Project Manager
Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Construction Project Coordinator to assist in planning, managing, and executing construction projects from start to finish. You’ll play a key role in ensuring projects stay on track with budgets, timelines, and quality expectations, while providing essential support to project managers and site teams.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and monitor project schedules, budgets, and documentation.
Assist in the preparation of project proposals, contracts, and change orders.
Communicate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely task execution and delivery.
Maintain and update project records, including RFIs, submittals, drawings, and daily reports.
Organize and participate in project meetings and follow up on action items.
Track procurement schedules and assist with ordering materials and equipment.
Help manage permitting, inspections, and compliance documentation.
Identify potential delays or issues and report them to the project manager.
Ensure safety regulations and project standards are followed.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in construction coordination or a similar role.
Strong understanding of construction processes, documentation, and project phases.
Excellent organizational, time-management, and communication skills.
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, or similar).
Ability to multitask and handle a dynamic work environment.
